Design is the process of collecting ideas

A good idea is only as good as its final implementation. Getting to this point requires mastering many processes.

Web design does not exist in a vacuum. The client and people with the skills to help realize web design projects are key to the process. Take an objective view of these relationships and stresses the need for designers to understand and empathies with these partners in the pursuit of a common goal.
Design is the process of collecting ideas, and aesthetically arranging and implementing them, guided by certain principles for a specific purpose. Web design is a similar process of creation, with the intention of presenting the content on electronic web pages, which the end-users can access through the internet with the help of a web browser. Website desing means planning creation and updating of websites. Website design also involves information architecture, website structure, user interface, navigation ergonomics, website layout, colors, contrasts, fronts and imagery as well as icons design.
Besides the basic elements of web design that make a site beautiful and visually compelling, a website must also always consider the end of use.
Sometimes the technical side of website design is emphasized in the definition of design. Surely, the modern website building involves server side scripting like php, asp and cgi, websites’ visual side is defined with html and css, user experience is enhanced with dynamic java script and Ajax. When talking to people with poor technical knowledge, instead of speaking about technical details, we concentrate on functionalities, e.g. to what extent it is possible to update a website through content management system and which features are visible to users.
All these elements are combined with the fundamental principles of design in order to create a superb result that meets the goals set for the website.
